You go to a nearby ATM to withdraw some money, you insert your debit card, and then…nothing at all. You push the cancel button, but still nothing happens, most probably you will think the ATM has just swallowed your debit card, which you will pick up the next day in the bank office.Unfortunately, the bank clerk will tell you the debit card has never been inserted because criminals have invented a manner to steal your debit card unnoticed with the aid of a piece of plastic that obstructs the ATM to read, swallow or return your debit card.
When you find yourself in the situation described up here, do not leave and call Card Stop (070 344 344) immediately to block your debit card.
